I have been chastised. Yes chastiser, I know it was a few weeks ago, but let it never be said that I’m one to be pushed. Truthfully, when pushed, I become a heel digger. Yes, I know it’s childish, but there you have it. Even if I was just about to do something, when someone starts nagging at me, I get stubborn. It’s dumb really.
So anyway…I’ve been a bad blogger. I have a new website. Do you know that? I absolutely love it! A wonderful lady did it for me and the link to her is at the bottom of my site. You can check out my new and beautiful website at http://www.brynnpaulin.com/.
That’s so weird to write. When I was growing up, I knew I wanted to be a writer. I wrote brilliant short stories for class. It was just in my blood. Anyway, there was no internet. I wrote high school and college papers on a trusty electric Smith Corona. Then when I was still writing, and the internet was young, I never imagined the promo elements I’d use to promote my books. Heck, I thought I’d write the book, it would get published and a million people would just buy it. A website? Heck no. Why would I have a website? I’m not a big business or anything. Oh how the times have changed. I have a website with MY name on it. It’s kinda cool.
It’s also a nice visual. My husband took a look and said “Those are all YOUR books?” Ummm…what did he think I spent my time doing?
Speaking of books—this is exciting—Phantoms’ Pleasure is now available at FictionWise and All Romance Ebooks. Not only that, in a week, it’s rocketed to #10 on the Fictionwise bestseller list and it’s on the what’s hot list at All Romance. I couldn’t be happier! In more book news, In the Dark (Part of the Brit Party anthology) was released by Total-e-bound recently. I love that story and I’m going to enter it in the Eppies and a few other contests next year.
Finally, my other book news is that I’m committed to have one of the Summer Seductions in July at Total-e-bound this coming year. It’s a ménage called Stealing the Bride. It’s a little hard writing it as it’s a snowy twenty degrees.
In other news, I’m officially signed up for the Romantic Times Convention in Orlando (RT). Appearances this coming year will be RT, Carol Lynne’s Reader Weekend in Kansas City in July and the Romanticon Convention for Ellora’s Cave in October. I’ll be a busy travelin’ fool next year. It ought to be fun.
